GRANDMOTHER'S REMEDY: to avoid dry leaf tips place an amount of aesthetic expanded clay inside the dishes around the plants and keep the spheres wet, in order to keep the water evaporation area humid. This will significantly reduce the formation of dry tips on the leaves, acting as an air humidifier.
Expanded clay consists of balls produced by firing various types of clay at high temperatures.
It creates an ideal microclimate for the healthy development of the plant.
It performs an action:
- Draining because it absorbs and releases the amount of water necessary for the plant;
- Thermally insulates the roots protecting them from temperature changes;
- Avoids water stagnation which causes root rot.
